Description

Lasix is a medicament, a diuretic. Granules for preparation of suspension for oral administration (for children), solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration, tablets.

Indications of Lasix

Ocular syndrome of various genesis, incl. with chronic heart failure II-III stage, cirrhosis (portal hypertension syndrome), nephrotic syndrome. Pulmonary edema, cardiac asthma, cerebral edema, eclampsia, conduction of forced diuresis, severe hypertension, some forms of hypertensive crisis, hypercalcemia.

Hypersensitivity, acute renal failure with Furosemide anuria (glomerular filtration value less than 3-5 ml / min), severe hepatic insufficiency, hepatic coma and precoma, stenosis of the urethra, acute glomerulonephritis, obstruction of the urinary tract by stone, precomatric states, hyperglycemic coma, hyperuricemia, gout , decompensated mitral or aortic stenosis, increased central venous pressure, arterial hypotension, acute myocardial infarction, pancreatitis, water-electrolyte disturbance CSO Interchange (hypovolemia, hyponatremia, hypokalemia, chloropenia, hypocalcemia, hypomagnesemia), digitalis intoxication.

Side effects

On the part of the cardiovascular system: a decrease in blood pressure, orthostatic hypotension, collapse, tachycardia, arrhythmias, a decrease in BCC.

From the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system: dizziness, headache, myasthenia gravis, calf muscle cramps (tetany), paresthesia, apathy, adynamia, weakness, lethargy, drowsiness, confusion.

From the sense organs: visual and hearing impairments.

On the part of the digestive system: decreased appetite, dry mouth, thirst, nausea, vomiting, constipation or diarrhea, cholestatic jaundice, pancreatitis (exacerbation).

From the genitourinary system: oliguria, acute retention of urine (in patients with prostatic hypertrophy), interstitial nephritis, hematuria, decreased potency.

On the part of the hematopoiesis system: leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia.

On the part of water-electrolyte metabolism: hypovolemia, dehydration (risk of thrombosis and thromboembolism), hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypochloraemia, hypocalcemia, hypomagnesemia, metabolic alkalosis.
